A man is dead after crashing his car into a pole on U.S. 1 in Ft. Pierce Saturday afternoon.
According to police, Charles, Devereaux, 75, was driving his 1967 Chevrolet Impala at about 1:45 p.m. when he crossed the median and crashed into a pole on the west side of the road just south of Midway Road.
Investigators are looking into what caused the crash.
There were no other injuries.
