Officials say a driver died when her Kia Forte crashed in suburban Boca Raton Wednesday.
Traffic investigators say 61-year-old Florencia Sunga of Pompano Beach was heading east on Boca West Drive and as she approached a curve drove across a median and struck a tree.
She was taken to Delray Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says.
It's not clear what caused Sunga to lose control of the vehicle.
