Cops: Delray bank robber wore distinctive shoes

Detectives are looking for a man who wore distinctive shoes while robbing a bank Monday afternoon in Delray Beach.

Police say the suspect robbed the PNC bank on West Atlantic Avenue.

Surveillance footage shows the man approaching a teller, who says he claimed that he had a bomb in his bag and demanded money.

Witnesses say he wore black athletic shoes with individual toe compartments, a black mask and glasses, a floppy hat, jeans and red gloves.  He is described as white with gray hair and having a "New York" accent.

Witnesses say the man may have headed westbound on Atlantic Avenue in a newer model red SUV.
