Delray Beach police officers took part in a kickball game at Pompey Park against kids in the community.
Organizers say with everything going on between police and the community, they wanted to bring them both together. The police department even brought out their mobile P.A.R.T.Y. trailer as a way to connect with the children.
"It brings everybody together. It builds a big family just like the back of their shirts it says support the community, feed the community and watch it grow," says organizer Krystal Hull.
Hull is planning a similar event with Boynton Beach Police as well.
