A suburban Boynton Beach couple faces charges in connection with operating a grow house.

A Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team raided the home of Christopher Volgaris and Noelia Guidi on Woodgrove Harbor Lane last week.

The bedroom was converted into an indoor marijuana grow room, according to a probable cause affidavit.

Investigators say that they found 28 live marijuana plants as well as nine jars and three plastic containers with marijuana, other drugs and nearly $2,000 in cash.

Volgaris not only admitted growing marijuana at the home, but at a second house on Hudson Lane, according to the police report.

He faces several drug charges as well as possession of a weapon or ammo by a convicted felon.

Guidi also faces several drug-related charges including marijuana possession with the intent to sell, manufacture or deliver.
