A Publix semi struck a pedestrian Monday morning in Boynton Beach, according to police who said she later died.
The incident happened near Seacrest and Gateway boulevards Monday morning.
The truck was in the right northbound lane on Seacrest, and just behind a city recycling truck, police said.
As both trucks began to move a woman ended up under the Publix truck, and one of its tires ran over her, according to police.
Investigators can't explain how or why the woman ended up under the semi.
They identified her as 68-year-old Herma Jervis of Boynton Beach.
Seacrest was shut north of Gateway for more than two hours. It has since reopened.
Police are continuing the investigate the crash and ask witnesses to contact Investigator Lawrence Rini at 561-742-6853.
