Friends and family came together Sunday to remember a 20-year-old Palm Beach State College student who died in a motorcycle crash Friday night in Boynton Beach.

The crowd gathered near the southbound exit ramp of Florida's Turnpike at Boynton Beach Boulevard.

They came to remember Luis Gonzalez, who was just a month away from celebrating his 21st birthday, when he lost his life near the exit ramp.

Friends and family remembered Luis's personality and kindness.

He was struck and killed by a car while riding a motorcycle he saved up to buy.

Friends say Luis was a business major who loved cars and was looking forward to becoming a father someday.

Friends remembered the good times with Luis.

"He had a very selfless personality," said Nicolas Goverman, a friend and coworker. "He always cared about others. It's going to be hard without him."

Friend Ally Viens, added, "[I remember Luis] walking in everyday to work and he just loves everyone, and he's happy to be there," she said. "[He was] always sneaking food for everybody."

The family has set up a GoFundMe page to help pay for funeral costs.
