BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. — Boynton Beach police said two people were shot and a woman was killed inside a home early Wednesday morning.
Holly Picciano, the public information officer for the Boynton Beach Police Department, said officers responded to a home at 147 Northwest 13th Avenue around 3 a.m.
Picciano said a man and woman — whose names have not been released — were shot inside the home. The woman died and the man was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
According to Picciano, both victims were homeless. The woman lived in a tent behind the home, while the man would stay at the house occasionally.
Police have not released any information about the search for a shooter.
