Voters in Boca Raton will help decide what to do with a prime piece of waterfront real estate.
Tuesday night the city council agreed to place a question on November’s ballot.
Citizens will choose whether city-owned waterfront land, at 551 East Palmetto Park Road, should be preserved as public space.
Community activists pushed for a vote in an attempt to turn the downtown lot into a park, not a restaurant, as city leaders originally planned.
