BOCA RATON, Fla. — Two people riding a motorcycle were killed in a crash Thursday on W. Yamato Road in Boca Raton.

Ivan Trivino Gene, 18, of Delray Beach, and Mayra Medina Gonzalez, 22, also of Delray Beach, were on a 2011 Kawasaki motorcycle traveling west in the 3100 block of Yamato Road.

The 93-year-old driver of a 2015 Kia was traveling east on W. Yamato Road when he made a left turn into a parking lot, crashing into the motorcycle.

When the two vehicles collided, they slammed into a 2015 Lexus that was stopped at the entrance to the parking lot.

Both Gene and Gonzalez were ejected from the motorcycle and later pronounced dead at Delray Medical Center.
