BOCA RATON, Fla. — Boca Raton police say a lockdown has been lifted at Omni Middle School after a threat was received Friday morning of a possible weapon on campus.

According to the School District of Palm Beach County, the school, located at 5775 Jog Rd., was put on code yellow lockdown while police investigated a threat made against the school.

During the lockdown, no one was allowed in or out of any buildings, but school was in session as normal.

Boca Raton police said in a tweet "there is no threat to students and faculty, and the school will resume regular activities."

Police added there were no reports of shots fired at the school.
