Wednesday’s rain inundated many streets in Palm Beach County.
Yamato Road just west of Dixie Highway in Boca Raton was one roadway that became flooded.
The rain came down so quickly it had nowhere to go.
The city says crews will spend today checking out flood-prone areas looking for issues.

The rain and wind didn't stop surfers from jumping into the ocean.
They say the storms actually make better waves for them.
