A child was transported to a local hospital after a single-vehicle crash in West Boca Raton Monday evening, according to the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
The crash happened near the 22400 block of Vistawood Way.
Officials say the vehicle hit a tree and the child was found on the ground outside the vehicle.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
