Boca Raton police say two brothers are suspected in a series of car burglaries.
Brandon Bayer was in court Thursday morning.
Police say Bayer and his 17-year-old brother attempted to steal a pickup truck in the Paradise Palms neighborhood Wednesday morning.
The owner tried to chase the truck down, which crashed across the street.
Police put the neighborhood on lockdown for about two hours.
During their investigation police say that they discovered six other vehicles were burglarized and two bikes were taken from a fenced backyard.
Detectives say they were also able to link Bayer to another burglary and stolen vehicle a few days earlier.
The pair faces multiple charges including robbery, grand theft, burglary and resisting arrest.
Police say the brothers are suspected in numerous recent auto burglaries throughout the city.
