Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control says they have found 10 dead dogs in a Boca Raton home.

Officers executed a search warrant at the home on West Camino Real and found 19 total dogs, 10 of them dead. The dogs were a variety of breeds.

An Animal Care and Control spokesperson says they received a tip about the animal hoarding case. When officers went inside they found the dogs locked inside crates.

"The house is deplorable. The living conditions are deplorable. It's just a bad situation for animals to be in and it's very obvious that there was neglectful conditions very consistent with animal hoarding," said Capt. Dave Walesky.

Veterinarians will treat the animals and determine if there is evidence to see if charges will be filed against the homeowner.
