SUBURBAN BOCA RATON, Fla. -- A man sustained a minor injury when he was bitten on the hand by an alligator near Boca Raton on Monday.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission (FWC) received a call for assistance from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office at 11:45 p.m. on Monday regarding an alligator at 10147 Boca Entrada Blvd.
Chris Stutz, a contracted nuisance alligator trapper for FWC, was bitten on the left hand while attempting to remove the alligator.
Stutz sustained a minor injury and was treated at West Boca Hospital.
