UPDATE: The victim was identified as 43-year-old Paul Murphy of Jupiter.
The suspect, 36-year-old James Wade Hodges of Okeechobee, Florida, is in custody and charged with second-degree murder. He is being held without bond.

Okeechobee County deputies are investigating a homicide after a dead body was found in a submerged car Friday afternoon.
According to the Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office, the vehicle was found underwater in Taylor Creek off NE 39th Blvd., known locally as Cemetery Road.
Deputies say a man's body was found in the car. It was later determined that the victim suffered from multiple gunshot wounds.
