Teen accused of stabbing, biting ex-boyfriend near Palm Beach Gardens High School football field

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — An 18-year-old North Lauderdale woman is accused of biting and stabbing her ex-boyfriend at Palm Beach Gardens High School Friday evening.

The incident happened at approximately 5:30 p.m. near the school's football field.

Officials say Christina Salmon, a senior at Nova High School in Davie, told police that her relationship with the victim, 18-year-old Christopher Stephenson of North Lauderdale, had ended the previous day and she is currently 11 weeks pregnant. She went on to say she found out the baby's sex and wanted to share the information with the victim but he refused to listen.

Officers arrived at the scene and found the victim with two stab wounds, a bite mark on the right side of his neck and a scratch on his left forearm.

According to Stephenson, Salmon bit him on the neck after seeing him with another female and stabbed him as he walked away.

Stephenson was transported to a local hospital. The extent of his injuries is unknown.

According to records, Salmon does not have a criminal history.

She is being held at the Palm Beach County Jail with a $12,000 bond. Salmon faces charges of possessing a weapon on school property and aggravated battery.
