PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla.- Some homeowners in Palm Beach Gardens protesting this afternoon to say buyer beware of a local developer.
About a half dozen San Matera at the Gardens homeowners lined Donald Ross Road and Parkside Drive to warn future home buyers about homes built by Kolter.
They claim pictures show badly built condos the developer sold them.
The homeowners say they're dealing with rotting walls, wood and roofs.
"It's very upsetting when you buy something, it's your home, and you find out that you've moved into a nightmare," said Maryann Morrison, a homeowner.
The homeowners filed a more than $30 million dollar lawsuit in 2010 against Kolter and other construction companies. They hope to go to trial in August.
We reached out to Kolter but have not heard back.
