PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — An 8-vehicle crash is causing major delays in the northbound lanes of the Florida Turnpike in Palm Beach County.
The wreck happened around 2:15 p.m. Monday at mile marker 107, just south of Northlake Blvd. in Palm Beach Gardens.
According to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, at least 17 patients were evaluated by paramedics, and four were taken to the hospital.
All northbound lanes of the Turnpike were shut down following the wreck, but all of them have since reopened.
