Authorities say five dozen people were arrested during a recent two-day anti-crime operation in northern Palm Beach County.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office called the initiative Operation Strike Heat and said law enforcement concentrated on drug trafficking, burglaries, robberies, weapons and gang activity.
PBSO said those arrested during the weekend of April 12 and 13 face various charges. In addition, large amounts of heroin, cocaine, marijuana, oxycodone, fentanyl, meth, synthetic narcotics and weapons were recovered, the sheriff's office said.
Some of the suspects arrested were from outside of Palm Beach County.
