Shots fired in Jupiter community, one person in custody

JUPITER, Fla. — Police responded to a report of shots fired in a Jupiter community Thursday night, and took a person into custody.

According to the Jupiter Police Department, the incident happened around 9:50 p.m. at 131 Carmela Ct.

Police said at the scene they made contact with a man born in 1967 and took him into custody.

No one was hurt, and the investigation is ongoing.
