Music volume at Harbourside back up for debate

Jupiter town councilors are asking the public to weigh in on the stricter noise regulations they are considering for the amphitheater at Harbourside Place.

People who live by the popular live music venue have been complaining for months that music there is too loud and played too often. Because of those complaints, town councilors are considering changing the rules.

Recommended changes include only allowing live music in Harbourside Place's amphitheater twice a week, on Fridays and Saturdays.

This city is also considering putting a limit on how long bands can play, regulating when drums and bass can be used and changing bands' cut-off time from midnight to 10 p.m.
