At the Sandsprit Park boat ramp, everyone is talking about where they can fish.
Also discussing a possible 1-2 punch of red tide and blue-green algae.
"What should we do? Where should we fish? Where should I take my clients," said Michael Mauri who owns a fly-fishing charter business.
Over the summer he was forced to fish offshore with blue-green algae in the St. Lucie River.
Now, he and his wife Emily are worried about the future with the red tide.
"Have people booked all the way through May," said Emily.
"If I have to cancel this, pay the deficit, I have no money for my family," said Michael.
There is some positive news for the estuary.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced they will stop Lake Okeechobee discharges down the St. Lucie.
