A person with a warrant for his arrest has been taken into custody after a police pursuit that ended in a crash in Stuart, according to police.
An officer noticed the suspect near a Racetrac at U.S. 1, police said.

Photos on the Stuart Police Facebook page showed the car, described as a stolen vehicle, with heavy damage lodged against a palm tree.
The suspect is in custody. He has not yet been identified.
