A car struck and killed a pedestrian Thursday morning in Martin County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Celia Kisiel, 83, of Stuart was attempting to cross SE Cove Road near SE Riverboat Drive when a vehicle struck her, FHP said.
She was taken to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
FHP is still investigating the crash.
