MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. -- Two missing divers were located Saturday in the Atlantic Ocean off Martin County after the boat captain who dropped them off called to say he was unable to locate them.
Martin County Sheriff's Office AIR 1 helicopter, along with MCSO Marine Units, searched for the divers.
MCSO AIR 1 crew spotted the divers from the air about 4 miles offshore and 6 miles south of the inlet.
Their location was about 1.5 miles south of where the diver's boat was.
AIR 1 directed Marine 5 to the divers.
They were evaluated for injuries and escorted back to the docks. Neither of them was hurt.
