The Florida Forest Service said it is using four firefighting bulldozers and an engine to battle the 15-acre blaze that was 100 percent contained as of 8:00 a.m. Tuesday.
Martin County Fire Rescue is using one engine, three brush trucks and four tankers to fight the blaze.
Strong winds and thick vegetation are causing problems for first responders. Wind gust of 25 m.p.h. are expected Tuesday and it has the potential for allowing the fire to spread.
Firefighters got a head start on containment efforts and reinforced the fire lines put in Monday.
