FHP investigating deputy-involved crash in Martin County

UPDATE:  Warfield Boulevard in Indiantown is back open in both directions.

EARLIER STORY:

A Martin County Sheriff's Office deputy was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries following a crash in Indiantown Thursday afternoon. 

Officials say the deputy was injured when his patrol car was hit during a traffic stop on Fox Brown Road.

Warfield Boulevard, State Road 710, is closed at the FPL entrance road. 

Traffic is being rerouted at Fox Brown Road. 

Motorists are asked to seek an alternate route.  

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. 

All occupants involved in the crash were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
