One hundred dogs were rescued from a Florida puppy mill.
The dogs were seized from a mill in Clewiston in November and are being transported to various animal shelters across the state to be put up for adoption.
Peggy Adams Animal Shelter and the Humane Society of Vero Beach will be receiving some of the dogs.
The dogs were living in filthy conditions, many suffering from medical issues from being neglect, officials say.
The owners of the facility were arrested on cruelty-related charges.
