Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said first responders had to extricate a worker's hand from a cement mixing machine.
They say it happened around 2:30 p.m. Thursday at a construction site in the 10000 block of Paso Fino Drive.
Fire rescue said extrication tools were used to remove the patient, an adult male, from the machine.
The man, who was not identified, was taken to a local trauma center. A condition was not released.
