West Palm Beach Police Athletic League kicks off new youth wrestling season

Young athletes who wish to compete in wrestling are encouraged to register for the new season a the West Palm Beach Police Athletic League.

The academy begins its new season Sept. 7 and is accepting registrations now.

Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays through June 2019 at Systema Floyd School located at 435 Sixth Street in West Palm Beach.

Two age groups are available: Rookies ages 5 to 9 years old will meet from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and veterans ages 10 and up will meet from 6:30 p.m. to  8 p.m.

"Kids are invited to join the West Palm Beach PAL Wrestling Academy to see how this physically and mentally demanding sport can prepare them for life through character development, confidence building and improved self-esteem," said PAL Program Director J.T. Taylor said in a written statement.

Registration Fee:
$75 per session
$125 both session
(scholarships are available)
