Man struck by car in West Palm Beach dies from injuries

UPDATE: Police said Monday they found the family of Fernando Perez, but he passed away from his injuries.  


Police are trying to find the family of a man critically injured in an apparent hit and run crash in West Palm Beach.

The body of Fernando Perez, 57, was found lying on Southern Boulevard near Parker Avenue on the night of July 13.

His right arm, elbow and leg were broken and he suffered a brain injury.

A dark-colored right exterior side mirror was found next to him.

Perez remains in critical condition and police have not been able to locate his relatives.
