WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- For some in West Palm Beach, Thanksgiving started a day early.

Large crowds gathered at The Lord's Place.

Volunteers came together to feed more than 300 people who didn't have a place to call home.

The Lord's Place holds a Thanksgiving festival each year

“I am always impressed by the people who come through our doors because they really come with such gratefulness in their hearts. When we're able to provide them days like today, the smile on their faces is something you can never get anyplace else," said Anne Noble who is the chief advancement officer with the organization.

Some of your donations from the WPTV Food for Families drive went to help The Lord's Place and helped put food on the table for families.
