WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.-- The Boys and Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County has more money to fulfill its mission.
The Schumacher Subaru team presented more than $80 thousand to the organization Tuesday afternoon.
The money came from the Subaru of America "Share the Love," campaign.
Schumacher representatives say the donation is money well spent
"This helps the kids in Palm Beach County so much. Over 500 thousand meals are served to them; they're taken care of and after school. It's a great thing to be able participate in and, like I said, are blessed to be able to do it," said Chuck Schumacher.
As part of the project, $500 from each vehicle sold at participating dealerships went towards a charity designated Hometown Supports.
In this case, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County was on the receiving end.
