The former Palm Beach Gardens police officer charged in the death of Corey Jones is asking to be removed from house arrest and to remain free on arrest bond.

Nouman Raja's lawyer filed a motion to allow him more freedom until he goes to trial.
Raja is charged with attempted manslaughter and first degree murder for shooting and killing Jones on the side of Interstate 95 in 2015.
His next court hearing is later this month.
