West Palm Beach police responded to a call of shots fired near CityPlace at around 10 p.m. Saturday.
Officers say there was no victim and no shooting scene found.
There was a heavy police presence following the report and many people quickly left the area following the reported incident.
Just a half hour after the first report, another report of shots fired was called in. But again, police say no victim or shooting scene were found.
Police said a woman, identified as 23-year-old Nadege Turnier, was hit by a car on Rosemary Avenue. She was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center and is hospitalized with injuries that are not threatening.
Police are reviewing surveillance video and continue to investigate the report of the shooting.
