A man was rushed to the hospital after being reportedly struck by lightning in Wellington Thursday afternoon, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Captain Albert Borroto.
The incident happened at 4:24 p.m. on the 15000 block of Sunnyland Lane, at the Palm Beach Point community.
The patient was transported to a local trauma center for treatment.
