Area stores and businesses aren’t the only ones offering deals this Black Friday. Peggy Adams Animal Rescue is getting in on the sales too.

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, the animal rescue, located at 3100 N. Military Trail, is offering an array of adoption deals.
If you adopt a cat, you'll get a free carrier and flea protection. Anyone who adopts a dog will get a free dog bed and heartworm medication.
The animal rescue is also offering free dog baths before new pet owners take their furry friend home. Some adoptions will even be free on Friday.
For animal lovers who already have pets, Peggy Adams Animal Rescue is also having a big sale at its Shaggy Shoppe Pet Boutique.
Representatives with the Peggy Adams say even if you don't get there by 1 p.m., for their early bird specials they'll still be offering deals and some free adoptions on Friday.
