A pedestrian was struck and injured by a Brightline train in West Palm Beach Monday evening.
The incident happened at 6:27 p.m. just north of Belvedere Rd. on the Florida East Coast railroad tracks.
Officials say two adult males were walking north along the tracks when they heard the horn of the northbound train. The two males saw the train but as they moved out of the way one of them was grazed by the train.
The patient was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
