Pedestrian struck by car, hospitalized

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a car in West Palm Beach.

Police say shortly after 9:30 p.m., officers responded to the 800 block of Parker Avenue in reference to a car vs. pedestrian accident.

The pedestrian was taken as a trauma alert to St. Mary's Medical Center.

The driver of the car, Erin Draudt, 18,  did not sustain any injuries.

After further investigation police say the pedestrian, identified as 45-year-old Felix Rosas,  walked into the car's path as he crossed in the middle of the block.

Rosas was last listed as critical but stable condition.
