PALM SPRINGS, Fla. — A pedestrian is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in Palm Springs Wednesday evening, according to the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
The crash happened at 7:44 p.m. near 10th Avenue North and Grace Avenue.
Firefighters say the patient, an adult male in his 40s or 50s, was laying in the roadway and was transported by Trauma Hawk to a local area trauma hospital.
According to Palm Springs police, the vehicle remained on scene.
