WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The West Palm Beach Police Department is investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a freight train.
The incident happened near the 500 block of Clematis Street around 9 p.m. Friday.
When officers arrived, they located a stopped East Coast Railway freight train blocking traffic.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said this is an ongoing investigation.
The victim's name has not been released.
