WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Walkers, donors and volunteers came together to help fight heart disease and stroke at the Palm Beach County Heart Walk.
The event took place along the waterfront in downtown West Palm Beach on Saturday.
Participants gathered at the Meyer Amphitheater to take part in the 5K walk.
Heart disease is the number one cause of death in the United States.
Their goal is to raise funds for life-saving science that can teach us all how to live longer and be healthy.
WPTV's Mike Trim served as emcee of the event.
It was hosted by the American Heart Association of Palm Beach County.
