WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The Palm Beach County Clerk & Comptroller will close its offices in downtown West Palm Beach early Tuesday because of planned protests.
Kathy Burstein, a spokeswoman for the office, said the locations at the main courthouse and governmental center will close at 2:30 p.m.
Branch offices in Belle Glade, Delray Beach, Palm Beach Gardens and Royal Palm Beach will remain open until 4 p.m.
Social media posts indicate that a "black lives matter" protest is planned for 3 p.m. on Clematis Street.
