UPDATE: Two people have died in fire at St. Anne & Vierge Miracle Botanica, according to West Palm Police Department.
The person taken to the hospital succumbed to fire related injuries.
Original story: West Palm Beach Police and Fire Departments responded to a fire at a business on Belvedere Road on Saturday.
One person was found deceased around 1:00 p.m., according to the West Palm Fire Department.
A second person was taken to St. Mary’s Medical center with severe burns.
The fire has been extinguished.
West Palm Fire and Police crews, along with the Fire Marshal’s office are on scene and conducting a sweep of the business for additional victim(s.)
Eastbound from 95 is closed and traffic is being diverted westbound.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
Ana Lazala was at the beauty salon next door and saw a terrifying scene.
"I opened the door and saw a lady running all burned up. She says help, help, help."
She immediately got on her phone.
"Call 911 and the paramedics and they arrive," says Lazala.
