WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) — A third man has been sentenced to prison for a fatal shooting more than a decade ago.
The Palm Beach Post reports Ronald Anthony Charles, 39, of North Miami Beach was sentenced Friday to eight years after pleading guilty to second-degree murder.
Authorities say Gregory Beasley's body was found full of bullets and set ablaze in a West Palm Beach alleyway in June 2006. He had been at a North Miami Beach strip club the night before. Investigators used cellphone data to place Charles, Radel Prudent and Wood Jean-Charles with Beasley the night he was killed.
Prudent and Jean-Charles were arrested in 2012; Charles was extradited from the Bahamas last year.
Jean-Charles received four years for being an accessory to the murder. Prudent received 13 years for being an accessory and to evidence tampering.
