A Delta Airlines employee has pleaded "not guilty" to smuggling more than $280,000 in cash through security at the Palm Beach International Airport.

Jean Selius now faces a second charge of violating airport security.

He was arrested three weeks ago after investigators say he used his airport identification to bypass security with more than $280,000 in cash stuffed in a backpack. A drug-sniffing K-9 reacted to the money.

Today, his attorney said he may have been carrying the money for someone else.

He faces 15 years in prison if convicted.
