The Florida Department of Health reported a new travel related case of Zika in Palm Beach County Tuesday. This is the 8th case of Zika in the county.
The person was in the Dominican Republic when they contracted Zika, the health department says.
Of the cases confirmed in Florida, seven cases are still exhibiting symptoms.
All 133 cases of Zika in Florida are travel-related. No locally-acquired cases have been reported in the state.
The total number of pregnant women who have been monitored is 38, with 9 having met the previous CDC case definition.
