Uthmeier was joined by multiple local law enforcement agencies, including the Palm Beach, Martin and Okeechobee county sheriff's offices, who assisted in the 6-month-long investigation of the large-scale narcotics operation.

Assistant Statewide Prosecutor Christopher Olowin announced that five arrests have been made so far, with more anticipated to be made soon.

Two of the traffickers were using the 45th Street Flea Market as a front to distribute narcotics around South Florida.

The investigation so far has resulted in the search and seizure of over 300 grams of fentanyl, a kilogram of cocaine, 400 grams of meth and numerous firearms.

"It's great to work together in Florida across agency lines," Uthmeier said. "We coordinate seamlessly, and that's why we're so effective."
